COMEDY: Balham Comedy Festival | The Bedford | 10-18 Jul
Taking over three spaces in Balham’s vast Bedford pub, the Balham Comedy Festival returns for its fourth year with another excellent line-up. Tonight Shappi Corsandi and Harry Hill lead proceedings. Over the next week and a bit there are also chances to see, amongst others, Ed Byrne, Stephen K Amos, Sara Pascoe, Marcus Brigstocke, Simon Munnery, Lucy Porter, Ardal O’Hanlon, Paul Sinha, Robert Newman, Romesh Ranganathan, and Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee. MUSIC: Camden Lock Live | Camden Lock | 10 Jul
Camden Market’s one day free festival returns, with music, food, drink, and market stalls. On the bill this year are Stealing Sheep, The Cuban Brothers, Norman Jay, Flyte, By The Rivers, Too Many T’s, Frankie Forman, Dom Pipkin And The Iko’s, Cal Jader, world record holding hula troupe Marawa’s Majorettes, and more. The Hyper Japan cultural showcase event spreads out into a festival event, with more going on than ever before. Check out all kinds of amazing stuff direct from Japan, from tech to art, and with a whole lad of music.
