So, it’s the most spookiest time of the year, and what festival so apt to celebrate that fact as the Etcetera’s frighteningly brill blood-nanza of theatre and ‘live arts’; which features the all-female Dante/Bard megamix ‘Shakespeare In Hell’, an arch dramatisation of ‘Gentlemen Of Horror’ Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing’s real life and on-cam relationship, haunting one-woman play ‘Greywing House’, and an additional clot of cabaret, magic, and hammer-style silliness. Details and tickets here.

A thinking (wo)man’s songwriter in the style of Cass McCombs and his oftimes collaborator Fiona Apple, Cali singer Blake Mills lays bare his high n wild new LP ‘Heigh Ho’ for British fans. Details and tickets here.
