And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…
COMEDY: Comedy In The Dark | Udderbelly | 27 Apr
First launched in Leicester back in 2008, Comedy In The Dark has toured multiple festivals and countries. The premise is pretty simple – you’ve probably already guessed it. It’s like a normal comedy night, except all the lights are switched off. You’ll get to hear, but not see, a line-up of top comedians perform on stage as they twist their delivery for these unusual circumstances. Details and tickets here.
COMEDY: Found Footage Festival – Salute To Weirdos | Soho Theatre | 27-29 Apr
Originating in New York, the Found Footage Festival pulls together weird and wonderful clips from VHS tapes found in thrift stores, garage sales, rubbish bins and more. Co-founders Joe Pickett and Nick Preuher will spend three nights in London sifting through some of their best finds. Details and tickets here.
THEATRE: Product | Arcola Theatre | 27 Apr – 23 May (pictured)
Premiered in 2005, ‘Shopping And Fucking’ writer Mark Ravenhill’s ‘Product is revived as part of Inside Intelligence’s 20th anniversary. Olivia Poulet stars as Leah, a movie producer attempting to convince a young actress that she’s found the perfect script for her. It’s a tough sell. Details and tickets here.
