THEATRE: I Am & Under The Covers (Double Bill) | Battersea Arts Centre | 28 Mar
Despite a major fire causing considerable damage to the building earlier this month, the Battersea Arts Centre was partly re-opened a day later, with many shows still running as planned. This double bill, as part of the BAC’s Hourglass Festival, features two shows that examine the beliefs and attitudes held by young people in contemporary society. Details and tickets here.
THEATRE: Violetta’s Last Tango | Artsdepot | 28 Mar (pictured)
Combining theatre, opera and dance, this show, loosely based on ‘La Traviata’, stars operatic soprano Ann Liebeck and West End star Arthur Kyeyune, with tango dancers David and Kim Benitez, and Cuban jazz violinist Omar Puente’s tango band. Details and tickets here.
