The Garage will be spilling over with practically every comedian going over the weekend, presenting competitively-priced Fringe previews by Andrew Maxwell, Josh Widdicombe, Adam Riches, Nish Kumar, Casual Violence and improv pros Cariad (Lloyd) and Paul (Foxcroft) – and that’s only today. FILM/ART: Dance Transmissions: Selected by Vivian Ziherl + Q&A | ICA | 5 Jul (pictured)
For the penultimate day of the 2014 Artists Film Biennial, curator Vivian Ziherl has chosen this programme of shorts dealing in the ways in which dance-type motifs translate to the moving image. The event’s twin centre-pieces are the London premiere screenings of two new works from Shahryar Nashat, who’ll stick around for a Q&A, and Karthik Pandian and Andros Zins-Browne.
