Three To See on 10 Aug: Busking It, Sh*t-faced Shakespeare, Your Kisses

And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Busking It | Soho Theatre | 9-11 Aug (pictured)
This sounds fab, don’t you think? “Cities are full of stories. It’s amazing what you hear if you stop and listen. Drawing on tales from a decade of singing on the tube, Busking It is a journey through the tunnels of the London Underground. A piece of gig-theatre giving voice to the passers-by, blending chance encounters with original live music.” See all the info right about here.

Sh*t-faced Shakespeare – Romeo and Juliet | Leicester Square Theatre | 4 Aug-1 Sep
Well, you may know that I’ve recommended the work of the Sh*t-faced Shakespeare lot, most recently because they’ve got two shows on up at the old Ed Fringe. But one branch of the family has stayed down in London to entertain you by getting one of the cast drunk before attempting to entertain you with a unique performance of the bard’s arguably most well known tragedy. See this page here for more.

Your Molotov Kisses | Etcetera Theatre | 8-16 Aug
Time to get back to Camden Fringe, hurrah, for this staging of Gustavo Ott’s 2002 play, a dark comedy about the fault lines of race, class and intolerance. “When a mysterious package arrives from MI5, an upscale couple’s happy marriage is turned upside down. What could their lives possibly have to do with terrorism?” See the CF website here for all the details.
