Three To See on 10 Aug: Thea-Skot That Loving Feeling, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Coming Clean

And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Thea-Skot That Loving Feeling | The Bill Murray | 10&17 Aug (pictured)
The excellent character comedian Alison Thea-Skot heads to the Bill Murray with another show with an amusing play on her surname as a title. Well, you know how much we appreciate that sort of thing, even when the show is a work in progress, which this is. Expect good things, however much ‘in progress’ it happens to be. Part of Camden Fringe, see this page here.

Kiki’s Delivery Service | Southwark Playhouse | 10 Aug-3 Sep
Hurrah, this fab adaptation of the book by bestselling and award winning book by Japanese author Eiko Kadono returns to Southwark Playhouse for four weeks only, which is fab for those of you looking for some family theatre to punctuate the holidays. If you’ve not come across it before (though you probably have, via the Ghibli version) then it’s a great coming of age story and very much worth your time. See this page here for info.

Coming Clean | King’s Head Theatre | 25 Jul-26 Aug
“Tony and Greg seem to have love all figured out. They’re in a committed relationship, but with room for a little sex-on-the-side whenever it takes their fancy. Their only rule? Never sleep with the same man twice. When drop-dead gorgeous cleaner Robert walks into their lives, the fragile foundations of their sexual contract are thrown into jeopardy.” The late Kevin Elyot’s 1982 play ‘Coming Clean’ gets a 35th anniversary run as part of King’s Head Theatre’s 2017 Queer season. Head this way for details.
