And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Tiger, Mog and Pink Rabbit: A Judith Kerr Retrospective | Jewish Museum London | until 14 Oct
This exhibition has been running for quite a while, but I thought lots of you might have missed it over the summer, what with being out there enjoying that good old British sunshine over the last couple of months… anyway, this is one for both parents and children to enjoy, an in-depth and interactive look at the work of a much loved author whose books have been delighting children and young people since about 1968. More info and tickets from the museum website, here.

Post Fringe Gala Bash with Stewart Lee | Union Chapel | 12 Sep
Well, you’re probably slightly aware that we’re Edinburgh Fringe addicts here at TWHQ, so thank goodness for events like this, a post-festival event featuring some of our favourite acts and including one of our August cover stars, Sofie Hagen. Lee is the headliner, obviously, but he’s supported by a very super award-winning and award-nominated line up. See this page here for more info.

Richard Herring – Happy Now? | Leicester Square Theatre | 12 Sep
Meanwhile, about three miles away from the Union Chapel, Stewart Lee’s erstwhile partner in comedy crime Richard Herring will be performing the final instalment in his much afore-tipped season of back-catalogue revivals. In ‘Happy Now’, his latest show, he looks at the question of whether we can ever be truly content, in the light of the fact that he is now settled down with a wife and baby. More info and tickets from this page, right here.
