And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Live At The Chapel | Union Chapel | 2 Jul
The Invisible Dot’s Union Chapel events pretty much always have a very compelling line up so I would probably recommend all of them, in a blanketty fashion, for the foreseeable future. For this one you can look forward to enjoying the talents of David O’Doherty, Pajama Men, Liam Williams and Mae Martin. Everyone in that line up is freaking excellent. Tales From The Shed | Chickenshed Theatre | various dates
I don’t think I have offered up much in the way of children’s stuff lately, so time to rectify that, especially as it’s a Saturday, and there’s a miserably high chance, given the way things have been going lately, that we might still be dodging rain showers. Anyway, this is for your younger fry (0-6) and sounds helpfully lively and interactive – the little ones are actively encouraged to make noise. Different stories each time, so try it on the 2 Jul and then maybe go back again if you loved it! See this page here for more info.

Ignition dance festival | Rose Theatre Kingston | 2-3 Jul (pictured)
This event, now in its third year, features the work of six choreographers who have been selected via a national competition. All the pieces are new, and have the same theme – ‘Dis-order’. You can see those on the first day of the festival, and on the second, it’s the turn of community based dance groups, presenting a wide range of genres. For all the details see this page here.
