And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Giant | New Diorama | 24 Jun
Today is the start of emerging theatre festival Incoming, as organised by New Diorama in conjunction with A Younger Theatre, which is nice, and here is a show by an award winning company who have in the last three years created three critically acclaimed productions to showcase their command of live music, puppetry, movement and poetry. ‘Giant’ is a coming of age adventure involving protagonist Tommy’s nan. And if that doesn’t draw you in, I don’t know what will. Head this way for info and to book.

The Noise Next Door’s Comedy Lock-in | Udderbelly | 24 Jun
The much loved chaos-mongers The Noise Next Door bring their acclaimed Comedy Lock In to Udderbelly Festival over on the Southbank, and it looks like it’s for just the one night, so don’t miss their consummate gaggery, special guests, and customary anarchic madness… Get ye to this page here to sort out your tickets.

LA Dance Project | Sadler’s Wells | 24-25 Jun (pictured)
LA based (yes, believe it or not) dance troupe LA Dance Project is an artist collective founded back in 2012 by dance hotshot Benjamin Millepied, former director at Paris Opera Ballet. The show offers a mixed bill including the final instalment of his ‘Gems’ trilogy and the UK debut of his acclaimed ‘Hearts and Arrows’. For more details, see the venue website here.
