Comedy Music ThisWeek In London
Three To See on 6 Nov: Atif Nawaz, Sean Hughes, Sylvain Chauveau

And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…
Aatif Nawaz – Muslims Do It 5 Times A Day | Museum Of Comedy | 6-8 Nov (pictured)
The super Aatif Nawaz – as featured in a Caro Meets Q&A this week – heads to the Museum Of Comedy this week for three performances of this much praised set addressing the growing divisions between Muslims and non-Muslims in the UK. Serious issues handled with a funny, deftly light touch. See this page here for more info and to book tickets.
Sean Hughes – Mumbo Jumbo | ArtsDepot | 6 Nov
I have had a bit of a soft spot for Sean Hughes for… well, longer than I would really care to remember. The award winning comic, I am pretty sure, gets better as he gets older; a thought that is vaguely topical, as this show about “staying on the right side of sanity” apparently contains some material about ageing. So there you go. More info and tickets here.
LIFEM 2015: Sylvain Chauveau | King’s Place | 6 Nov
Sylvain Chauveau’s minimal compositions have been released on solo records through companies such as Type, Les Disques du Soleil et de l’Acier, and Brocoli, and he also runs two of his own rather idiosyncratic labels. He’s on as part of the generally very interesting sounding London International Festival of Exploratory Music, on at King’s Place from 5-8 November; see this page here for more info on Chauveau, and this here for links to info on the three other performances in the strand.
