Three To See on 8 Aug: I Relate To The Sparrow, How We Think We Think, Aunty Donna – New Show

And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…
I Relate To The Sparrow | Cecil Sharp House | 8-11 Aug
Aaaaand back to Camden Fringe, for yet another very promising looking show: a funny song cycle about birds by Susannah Pearse, which features the very fabulous Margaret Cabourn-Smith and is directed by Lottee Wakeham. Definitely one for twitchers, birders and other bird-friendly humans, but I reckon the rest of you would get a lot out of it too. See this page here for all the info.
How We Think We Think | King’s Head Theatre | 8-13 Aug
Some intriguing looking new writing over at King’s Head theatre, with an interesting title which was very much the thing that drew me in… “When Tom witnesses the suicide of a stranger he has had a chance encounter with on the London Underground, he makes it his mission to understand why the events unfolded as they did. He tears apart his own world view while trying to piece together the life and mind of a man he will never know.” Have you been drawn in, too? See the venue website here.
Aunty Donna – New Show | Soho Theatre | 8-13 Aug (pictured)
This acclaimed sketch outfit head to Soho Theatre for what might be regarded as something of an Edinburgh preview, before they head north to somewhat controversially start a run about half way through edfringe. Yes, okay, it’s not so very controversial, I’m just easily shocked. Anyway, head this way for some seriously hilarious and even “high-octane” fun.
