THEATRE: The Body Of An American, Gate Theatre, 16 Jan – 1 Feb
This UK premiere of Dan O’Brien’s all-American play pulls into focus the disparate lives of two men – a Pullitzer-winning photojournalist and a Princeton playwright. Its two actors take on multiple roles throughout, against a backdrop of iconic war snapshots. Details and tickets here

Moonlighting from her gory day job on ‘Silent Witness’, actress Emillia Fox makes her Hampstead Theatre debut as ‘rock star scholar’ Catherine in this Pullitzer Prize finalist by Gina Gionfriddo. Playing opposite Fox, it’s West End star Emma Fielding as Catherine’s one-time university peer Gwen, now housewife, with whom she embarks on a dangerous game of oneupwomanship.
