FILM: Nomad Cinema – Whiplash | Grosvenor Square | 16 Jul
As part of the Nomad Cinema’s summer season, tonight Damien Chazelle’s ‘Whiplash’ will be screened in Grosvenor Square. Food and drink will be available, picnic are welcomes, and the film’s sound will be provided through wireless headphones, so you won’t be disturbed by rustling/birds/distant drumming/people who pay for cinema tickets and then won’t shut up. Sounds just my tempo. Details and tickets here.
MUSICAL: Seven Brides For Seven Brothers | Regents Park Open Air Theatre | 16 Jul – 29 Aug (pictured)
Director Rachel Kavanaugh reunites the creative team behind the Regents Park Open Air Theatre’s award-winning production of ‘The Sound Of Music’ to adapt another classic movie musical, ‘Seven Brides For Seven Brothers’, with Alex Gaumond as Adam and Laura Pitt-Pulford as Milly.
