By way of distinguishing this one from all other Mondays ever to pass, TW London has compiled this short shortlist of tonight’s cultural must-gos…

TODAY’S COMEDY CHOICES

Chris Addison – The Time Is Now, Again, Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank Centre, 4 Feb
Doe-eyed mop-top Chris Addison – who’s co-writing a TV series about infidelity with ‘The Thick Of It’ scribe Simon Blackwell, by the by – re-emphasises time’s immediacy at this Southbank-centric edition of his new roving show. “You should come and see him”, says its forthright blurb. Details and tickets here.

Katherine Ryan – Nature’s Candy, Soho Theatre, 4-13 Feb
Don’t be taken in by Canadian comic Katherine Ryan’s pretty demeanour and sticky-sweet show title. ‘Nature’s Candy’ drizzles acid bitchiness and tangy jabs by the lemon-load over four nights at the Soho Theatre. Details and tickets here.

Rich Hall’s Hoedown, Soho Theatre, 4-15 Feb (pictured)
True-grit American Rich Hall and band serve a steaming late-night gumbo, peppering said gumbo with guests, music, comic to-and-fro and “gratuitous coloration”. Whatever that is. Anyway, go to polishing your pearl snaps, because it’ll be grand. Details and tickets here.

TODAY’S THEATRE CHOICES

Dear World, Charing Cross Theatre, 4 Feb – 30 Mar
Tony Award-winning actress Betty Buckley plays the mad Countess Aurelia in the British premiere of Jerry Herman’s 1969 Broadway smash, as is set in a post-war Paris ravaged by corporate avarice. West End grand dame Gillian Lynne of ‘Cats’ and ‘Phantom’ fame directs. Details and tickets here.

The Pinstripe Trilogy, Theatre Delicatessen at Marleybone Gardens, 4-23 Feb
Theatre co the Lab Collective’s dystopian new triptych comprises ‘Matador’ – the demise of a lagging finance trader, ‘Trust Fund’ – a nightmarish ‘what if’ riff on “the privatisation of childhood”, and ‘The Bean Counter’ – another fiscal vision in black (and debtors’ red). Details and tickets here.
