Comedy Club 4 Kids presents… Mitch Benn/Late Night Geek Fight/Luke Toulson MC, Udderbelly Southbank, 8 Jun
Always a hit with kids aged one to ninety two, CC4C is back, doing it for the juvies (and parents) tonight as a mere still-small scrap of this year’s Udderbelly festival feast. And what comics higher qualified to make families laugh than the show’s stars: likeable, motivational fitness addict Mitch Benn, the usually rude Late Night Gimp Fight (who, thankfully, are masquerading as the U-rated Late Night Geek Fight) and respectable MC-at-large Luke Toulson. Eddie Izzard – Force Majeure, The O2, 8-9 Jun
Last sighted back in May playing to a packed Wembley Arena, the charismatic always-well-dressed marathon man that is Mr Izzard is back in LDN again, scaling Planet Earth’s greatest phenomena as inspired by France’s fave fate-based phrase. Details and tickets here.

Like many, many things (bucket hats, mini satchels, The Spice Girls) having a renaissance of late, US grungoids Mudhoney’s popularity had its pinnacle in the 1990s. Saying that, their new LP ‘Vanishing Point’ has won the band a lot of love from fans new and established alike, and they’ll be sending that right back to the fans this eve in Camden, with noisy assistance c/o The Meat Puppets.
