Weirdos Comedy Club – Black Tie Dinner & After-Dinner Speeches, Shoreditch High St Station, 25 Nov (pictured)
This odd comedic ensemble will wine and dine its disciples (the ones presenting themselves at Shoreditch High St Station at 6pm, that is) at one of Brick Lane’s Indian eat-ins, after which Weirdos associates John Kearns (pictured above), Mark Stephenson, Ben Target, Matt Highton and Adam Larter give post-papadum speeches. It’ll cost you a curry, but the comedy’s free.

Nouveau R&B brothers Inc – who for years acted as live and studio ancillaries to the likes of Pharrell Williams and Beck – now have their own solo LP, ‘No World’, to promote prior to its release on 19 Feb 2013. To that end, they’ll be playing tracks from it at the far end of Dalston (tickets here), and this is what one sounds like:
