Up On The Roof… Official Brixton Splash After Party feat DJ Derek, The Lambeth, 4 Aug (pictured)
Having revealed that he’ll hang up his headphones at the end of the year, Britain’s #1 OAP reggae DJ Derek Morris (as cartoonified above) spins rocksteady post-Splash vibes on top of Brixton’s rebranded Clubhouse, the Lambeth. Derek, by the way, shares a bill with Don Letts, Trojan Sound System’s Earl Gateshead, live band The Drop, and DJ Count Skylarkin. Details and tickets here.

A keenly site-specific spin on Shakespeare’s spiny Danish tragedy, as Synomatic engineer a version set immediately pre Brixton’s 1981 riots in a real live Brixton car park.
