If even (even!!!) the sight of Robbie Williams switching on Oxford Street’s Marmite-sponsored Christmas lights failed to ignite your festive spirit, why not walk a block to see another Xmas power-up at the much trendier Carnaby Street this very evening. And no, the Carnaby lights aren’t branded by Bovril, but are rather a homage to the Rolling Stones’ fiftieth anniversary; which means large-scale gold and silver vinyl decorations, plenty of lips n licks-themed LP artwork, and a pop-up shop selling exclusive Stones’ merch.
