Situated in the shadow of the Mall-side Duke Of York Column, this free-entry ‘off-site’ special by the ICA will start with artistic director Abdellah Karroum’s choice of features – not least Tunisian filmmakers Ala Eddine Slim, Ismaël and Youssef Chebbi’s Arab Spring diary ‘Babylon’. Things carry on tomorrow with silent belly dancing via Manal Al Dowayan’s ‘The Legends’, and Rania Stephan’s rich VHS elegy ‘The Three Disappearances Of Soad Hosni’ (pictured), and reach to a close c/o artist Ahmed Mater’s ‘Leaves Fall in All Seasons’ and a screening of the newly re-embalmed Egyptian classic, ‘The Night Of Counting The Years (Al Momia)’.
