The talk of Russia’s balletic elite, the re-styled Mickhailovsky co present a mixed bill starting with vintage tragedies ‘Giselle’ and ‘Don Quixote’, and moving on to contemporary sign-offs by Spanish choreographer Nacho Duarto. Details and tickets here.

Wave Machines, Village Underground, 26 Mar
Synth-pop-playing Liverpool lot Wave Machines have been… well, making considerable waves since striking ‘the scene’ in 2009, and tonight present their new LP ‘Pollen’ in aid of deaf and disabled charity Attitude Is Everything. I Didn’t Always Live Here, Finborough Theatre, 26 Mar – 20 Apr
A very bright light on the West End fringe of late, the Finborough lays on another rarely-seen play in the first ever English sighting of ‘I Didn’t Always Live Here’, Stewart Conn’s moving 1967 tale. In it, elderly ladies Martha and Amie find themselves ‘trapped’ (not in the literal sense) in a near-derelict tenement block. Details and tickets here.
