TODAY’S COMEDY CHOICES

Luisa Omielan – What Would Beyonce Do?!, Soho Theatre, 7-12 May
The Mrs Carter Show may have moved on to Mancs – leaving a great, Bey-sized gap in Londoners’ lives – but consolation is at hand c/o Fringe golden girl Luisa Omielan, who’ll be asking ‘WWBD?!’ with absentee assistance via the R&B oracle. Details and tickets here.

Tits And Giggles-Get Your Quips Out for Coppafeel!, Bloomsbury Theatre, 7 May
Camply-coiffed comic Russell Kane bares his finest quips (and quiff) in the name of breast cancer awareness charity Coppafeel!, as do the musical Mae Martin, Funny Women Award-winner circa 2012 Gabby Best and, perhaps most appropriate to the cause, Essex girls That Pair. Details and tickets here.

TODAY’S THEATRE CHOICES

London Wall, St James Theatre, 7 May – 1 Jun (pictured)
John van Druten’s 1931 play, which recently earned mega critical praise by the page on its initial revival at the Finborough Theatre,  is set amid the lives and love-affairs going on in a solicitor’s office, and stars Alix Dunmore as genteel jiltee Miss Janus, and Alex Robertson as caddish manager Mr Brewer. Details and tickets here.
