Sean Hughes – Life Becomes Noises, Tricycle Theatre, 13-16 Feb
The lastingly great Sean Hughes sets levity against gravity in the pathos, pyjamas and props-featuring ‘Life Becomes Noises’, a moving reminiscence he wrote last year in the wake of his father’s death. Details and tickets here.

WitTank, Soho Theatre, 13-14 Feb (pictured)
As seen on BBC Three’s ‘Live At The Electric’, the dashing comic members of WitTank lead a whimsical parade of characters, props and sketch scenarios over two nights at the Soho’s Upstairs space. Details and tickets here.


Sam Lee, Bedford Arms/Cafe Oto/Cecil Sharpe House/Tabernacle, 13-16 Feb
Mercury-nominated folk bard Sam Lee is to navigate his way past a four-date ‘compass points’ tour taking in stages in the north, south, east and west of London. He begins this very eve at the Bedford in Balham, and moves to Cafe Oto, Cecil Sharpe House, and the Notting Hill-based Tabernacle over successive nights. Details and tickets here.
