Today in London: Wednesday 31 October 2012
By TW Editorial | Published on Wednesday 24 October 2012
Love or hate Halloween and its sugary all-American-style trappings, you can’t deny it’s a damn fine premise for a themed movie party. Secret Cinema‘s much-coveted Autumn season starts tonight and – while that sold out a while back – the Shoreditch Aubin is catering an ‘edible’ screening of Tim Burton’s ‘Beetlejuice’, as is also being shown at the also Shoreditch-based Water Poet as part of a ‘Hocus Pocus’ double feature. What’s more, bespoke hosts the Flicker Club present Jan Svankmajer’s cracked looking-glass animation ‘Alice’ at Stoke Newington Town Hall.
And on that note, why the hell not eyeball some other ghastly and ghostly goings-on…
