Considering it’s pretty cold at the moment, Hands On London’s 2012 ‘Wrap Up London’ initiative (5-9 Nov) – as involves the charity quite literally taking the coats off commuters’ backs – may not appear to be all that appropriate. But wait, that’s the point. Volunteer collectors will be taking willingly-given public donations of warm winter jackets – to be given to various shelters across the city – at Paddington, Victoria, King’s Cross, Waterloo, Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, Charing Cross and London Bridge TFL stations. So go on, have a quick wardrobe rummage, but first look at what London has stashed up its cultural sleeve tonight…
