OPERA: Falstaff | Arcola Theatre | 18-22 Aug
The final opera by Giuseppe Verdi, ‘Falstaff’ is a comedy based on Shakespeare’s ‘The Merry Wives Of Windsor’ and ‘Henry IV Parts I and II. It is presented as part of this year’s Grimeborn festival in a new production from director Daisy Evans, placing the action in the present day. Details and tickets here.
