CABARET: Cabarera feat Spencer Jones/Huntington & Hutt/Short & Curly, The Miller, 18 Mar
Lounge lizard Spencer Jones and pals present an era-themed evening of stand-up and cabaret, which tonight is based on the time dinosaurs walked the earth. Scaly sketch acts Huntington & Hutt and Short & Curly will perform prehistoric skits, with actress/comedians Rebecca Shorrocks and Susan Harrison acting as jurassic park wardens. MUSIC/FESTIVAL: Pull Out All The Stops, Southbank Centre, 18 Mar – 7 Jun
Organised around the Royal Festival Hall’s grand Victorian organ, which is now in full working order once more following six-years of restoration, this large-scale organ-athon has on its programme contemporary commissions from John Tavener and Peter Maxwell Davies, installations incorporating the organ by artists Martin Creed and Lynette Wallworth, and an array of galas and recitals featuring major organ works not heard at the RFH for a long, long time.
