Smart Watford starlet Kyla La Grange, a one-time Oxbridge philosophy scholar who plays a delicate shade of waiflike, slightly earthy synthpop, is on the grind at Oslo tonight in the name of her new single and LP, which share the title ‘Cut Your Teeth’. Details and tickets here.
THEATRE: Sizwe Banzi Is Dead | Albany Theatre | 27 – 31 May
Athol Fugard’s greatly-acclaimed play, written in the seventies and revived here by director Matthew Xia, is set in Apartheid-era South Africa and depicts a man’s battle for pride, liberty and ultimately, survival, and his internal strife with identity.
