This week Luca Silvestrini's Protein revives acclaimed piece 'Border Tales', an exploration of multi-cultural living, as the opening event for the annual Greenwich Dances festival. The company is known for its high quality, accessible and humorous work.
The piece was conceived and directed by artistic director Silvestrini himself. I put some questions to the renowned choreographer. You can read it here.

ODD COMIC: MY CHAMPION HEARTACHE
Odd Comic, aka artists Holly Bodmer and Dot Howard, this month bring their new live art performance 'My Champion Heartache' to The Yard Theatre in London, following a premiere at the currently ongoing 2015 Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
The show focuses on people's relationships with their pets, and features an appearance by an especially talented tortoise. I sent some questions over to the duo, to find out more. You can read it here.

BEN DUKE: PARADISE LOST
Can you imagine a one man 'Paradise Lost' incorporating theatre, dance and spoken word...? For Ben Duke of Lost Dog Dance, it was a vision that he has turned to reality; the resulting (and brilliant-sounding) show heads to BAC next week for two performances only.

VICKI AMEDUME: BEDTIME STORIES
Half term is coming up, so if you are a parent, you might be interested to hear that family circus piece 'Bedtime Stories' is headed to Stratford Circus Arts Centre for four performances next week.
The show has been created by Vicki Amedume, aerialist and circus practitioner, via her critically acclaimed company Upswing. I put some questions to Vicki, ahead of the imminent run. You can read it here.

Adapted from the original Dr Seuss book by Katie Mitchell and directed by Paul Taylor-Mills and Lillie Collier, 'The Cat In The Hat' comes to the London stage following a UK tour. Can Sally and her brother get that cat in check before their mum comes home? It's going to be a close call. Details and tickets here. COMEDY: Sheeps Wembley Previews | Soho Theatre | 25-30 May Sprightly sketch three-piece Sheeps - that's Daran Johnson, Liam Williams, and Alastair Roberts - work on the (imaginary) premise that they're practising ahead of a (not real) show at Wembley Stadium. So this involves them repeatedly binning and re-inventing the same aquarium-based scenario in a variety of styles, and eventually picking apart a) each other and b) the very nature of what makes good comedy.
