THEATRE: Our Town | Almeida Theatre | 10 Oct – 29 Nov (pictured)

THEATRE: The Cherry Orchard | Young Vic | 10 Oct – 29 Nov
Scripted by ‘Curious Incident’ playwright Simon Stephens and directed by fearless theatre-maker Katie Mitchell, this production of Anthon Chekhov’s final play ‘The Cherry Orchard’ is apparently, or so its billing exclaims, a ‘vigorous and profound’ English-spoken take on the 1904 original, a poignant love-note to a world in violent transition. Details and tickets here.
