Sketch pairing Max & Ivan MC this 10 x 10 x 10-type event, which features ten ten minute sets by ten comics – not least Edinburgh Comedy Award-winning new face Alex Edelman, misanthropic stand-up Nina Nesbitt, ‘Friday Night Dinner’ goof Tom Rosenthal, skittish flatmates Pappy’s, acclaimed character actor Sara Pascoe, and five others besides. And it’s aaaaaaalll in aid of Artsdepot’s – you know it – tenth birthday. THEATRE: Our Town | Almeida Theatre | 10 Oct – 29 Nov (pictured)
American actor/director David Cromer steers his ‘intimate’ critically-praised reimagining of Thornton Wilder’s ‘Our Town’, the microcosmic story of a man and woman living, loving and probably laughing a bit in a small US… municipality. Details and tickets here.

THEATRE: The Cherry Orchard | Young Vic | 10 Oct – 29 Nov
Scripted by ‘Curious Incident’ playwright Simon Stephens and directed by fearless theatre-maker Katie Mitchell, this production of Anthon Chekhov’s final play ‘The Cherry Orchard’ is apparently, or so its billing exclaims, a ‘vigorous and profound’ English-spoken take on the 1904 original, a poignant love-note to a world in violent transition. Details and tickets here.
