THEATRE: Sizwe Banzi Is Dead, Young Vic, – 15 Mar (pictured)
There’s still time to see and appreciate this greatly-acclaimed (not least at the Tonys) play by Athol Fugard, which returns to the Young Vic following a sell-out run last summer. Set in South Africa in 1972 (ie the height of Apartheid), it depicts Sizwe Banzi’s battle for pride, liberty and ultimately, survival, and his internal strife with identity. Details and tickets here.
