Three To See on 11 Aug: The Titanic Plays, Hatch, Jack and The Beanstalk

And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

The Titanic Plays | The Bunker Theatre | 11-12 Aug
The Goat Exchange present this interesting sounding production featuring early Eugene O’Neill one act plays looking at the perspectives of the few survivors of the Titanic disaster, as they float in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, juxtaposed with transcriptions of the senate inquiries immediately following the disaster, and the verbatim radio transmissions of the doomed ship in its final hours. See this page here for more.

Hatch | Etcetera Theatre | 8-12 Aug
And yea verily I bring you yet another offering from the ongoing Camden Fringe, and it’s a show you won’t forget in a hurry, a solo gig-theatre piece about Jess, who has been imprisoned for selling drugs on her lover’s behalf. This has already won much acclaim, so no need to worry about whether or not it’s any good. It’s quite clearly brilliant in fact. Head this way for all the info.

Jack And The Beanstalk | Polka Theatre | 8-19 Aug (pictured)
One for the kiddies now, and not least because they’ve now been on holiday long enough for them to have got well and truly bored, even despite all the amazing and uncharacteristic good UK weather, and all the outdoors activities that must surely be dominating. Anyway, here’s a goodie for your little people aged 3+, who will no doubt have a great time in the company of Cbeebies’ Patrick Lynch. Details here.
