And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Pig | New Diorama | 15-19 Sep
This is a piece of darkly comic theatre focusing on the police, and those who find themselves at the mercy of the police, and has been developed with the help of anonymous interviews with both serving officers and offenders. Brought to London by Hull based theatre group Silent Uproar, with the support of Hull City Council, Hull UK City of Culture 2017 and the New Diorama Emerging Companies Fund. Go to this page here for more info and tickets.

Tubular Bells For Two | London Wonderground | 15 Sep
Yay for Aidan Roberts and Daniel Holdsworth, and their high energy, super fun two man performances of ‘Tubular Bells’. If you didn’t manage to catch the show on 12 Sep, here’s your last chance for the moment, so don’t waste it: ‘Tubular Bells’ lover or not, you will love this. If you want to know more from them, you can read our recent Q&A here, and you’ll find info and tickets on the venue website here.

What The Ladybird Heard | Hackney Empire | 15-16 Sep
If you have children, there’s pretty much no question at all that you will have heard of Julia Donaldson, and it’s also pretty likely that you will be familiar with one of her seminal tomes ‘What The Ladybird Heard’. This staged adaptation will, I am sure, be the perfect daytime treat for your pre-schooler. Younger school-age children needn’t miss out though, there’s one 4.30pm performance to take in. See this page here for more info and tickets.
