And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

Sigma | The Albany | 21-22 Sep (pictured)
“Gandini Juggling’s mesmerising new show Sigma explores juggling, geometry and classical Indian dance. Performed by a quartet of female artists including the award-winning choreographer Seeta Patel, Sigma showcases rhythms, patterns and colours, at the heart of which is a unique interpretation of the South Indian dance form, Bharatanatyam.” This sounds brilliant, and looks like it would be okay for most of the family, age wise. Head this way for details.

Butterflies | Half Moon Theatre | 21-22 Sep
One that’s definitely for kiddies now, a tale of friendship, courage and facing your fears told with humour, physical theatre, and original music: “Three friends embark on an exciting adventure to chase their butterflies away. They cross new seas to uncharted lands, on a journey filled with discovery. The only trouble is they’re all a bit worried about it! During their voyage the group ride the waves, walk high bridges, skirt deep caves and climb to the sky, before reaching dry land braver than ever before.” More here.

Raven | Jacksons Lane | 21-22 Sep
“Am I strict enough? Am I away too much? Did I breastfeed for long enough? Should I be back in shape by now? Did I need that second glass of wine? Why is the house never tidy? Did I want this? Am I still myself? Do they call me raven mother?” A physical/aerial piece exploring some of the crippling expectations placed on modern mothers, from Berlin circus collective Still Hungry, directed by the brilliant Bryony Kimmings.
