MUSIC: La Luz, Brixton Windmill, 3 Apr
The four girls of US-based lo-fi pop troopers La Luz illuminate their debut LP, ‘It’s Alive’ will have its UK coming-out-party via Hardly Art on 31 Mar. Fall for its Mazzy Star-bright, 1960s-style charms right now c/o this video tape, for one of its tracks ‘Brainwash’. Details and tickets here.

Leading playwright Simon Stephens, the man credited with adapting the National Theatre’s ‘The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time’, creates this piercing new play, a riff on money, fame, artistry and human nature. At its core is a ‘rockstar’ approaching the last date of a world tour, who is forced to think about coming off the road and going back to reality. Details and tickets here.
