Prom 40: 6 Music Prom, Royal Albert Hall, 12 Aug
6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Radio 3’s Tom Service curate a cross-station collaboration as part of this year’s BBC Proms, acting as hosts to folk darlin Laura Marling, one-time Catatonia star Cerys Matthews, The Stranglers and the London Sinfonietta, who’ll play works by Varèse, Berio, John Adams and Anna Meredith.
