Adding spice to in the BAC’s super-tasty ‘Cook Up’ season of pre-Fringe specials, scratch comic savant Daniel Kitson‘s ‘After The Beginning’ is based, quite basically, on a single great idea he had on the train. “And you have to trust me”, he says, “two hours ago I didn’t have the idea. Tonight’s MC, one-time ‘Vaudeville Schmuck’ Mat Ricardo lays on a tray of extra-delectable comic bonbons as part of a really capital London Varieties spread. Taking care of the laughs are leading media geek Dave Gorman, ‘Street Magic’ man Paul Zenon, zany sonic mixologists Rayguns Look Real Enough, and tidy ‘Chinese pole artiste’ Ed Muir.
