TODAY IN LONDON, TW’s tipped events feature tip top comedians Stewart Lee, Katherine Ryan, Daniel Kitson and Romesh Ranganathan, and folk-rock survivors Dry The River…

COMEDY: Free Fringe Fundraiser feat Daniel Kitson/Stewart Lee/Katherine Ryan/Addy van der Borgh, Bloomsbury Theatre, 21 Jan
It’s tough to picture the Edinburgh fest without Peter Buckley Hill’s Free Fringe, which – requisite Edinburgh fixture though it is, still needs funding to continue its good work. Tonight’s Bloomsbury drive includes routines from well-known Free Fringe supporters Daniel Kitson, Andrew Maxwell, Stewart Lee, Katherie Ryan, Phill Jupitus and Addy van der Borgh. Details and tickets here.

COMEDY: Romesh Ranganathan – Rom Com, Soho Theatre, 21-25 Jan (pictured)
Professional sceptic and some-time Edinburgh Best Newcomer-shortlisted comic Romesh Ranganathan struggles to find a sense of order in his world, and even his own house. Come ogle his ‘Rom Com’ confusion tonight. Details and tickets here.

MUSIC: Dry The River, Oslo, 21-22 Jan
London band Dry The River baptise brand spanking new Hackney events space Oslo in the still waters of their deep, lyrical guitar balladry, playing a pair of back-to-back nightly shows in the name of 2012’s ‘Shallow Bed’ LP, and its TBA follow-on. Details and tickets here.
