ART: Ruin Lust – Tate Britain, 4 Mar – 18 May
The Tate Britain builds an exhibition of over 100 works – from eighteenth century masters like Constable and Turner, film artist Tacita Dean, and late sculptor Eduardo Paolozzi. All the art is unified by its makers ‘lust’ to depict crumbling old ruins in various ways and in various lights, from the mournful, to the thrilling, to the comic and perverse. MUSIC: Py/Mo Colours, Madame JoJo’s, 4 Mar
London girl and pop vocalist Py celebrates the imminent 10 Mar release of her heady new single ‘Swimming Slow’ with a headline appearance at Madame JoJo’s weekly White Heat night. Half-Mauritian soul producer Mo Kolours and LA DJ Kastle are also on the bill. Details and tickets here.

Running in the last part of The Vaults’ underground arts marathon, Opera Viscera’s contemplation of beauty, intimacy and spirit based on Charles Bukowski’s short story, about a wild and charismatic girl who ‘haggles’ her beauty, is brought to the stage in a whirl of prose, music and dance.
