Identical twin pop duo The Veronicas play London’s Heaven as the finale to a UK tour to promote the release of their long-awaited second album, ‘The Veronicas’, which wis due out on 16 Mar. THEATRE: The Heart Of Things | Jermyn Street Theatre | 10 Mar – 4 Apr
Against a backdrop of the limbo period in 2010 when the main political parties were trying to work out who actually should be in government, a disillusioned English teacher and part-time election volunteer travels home to a village on the Norfolk coast and tries to put his life in order. In doing so, he finds the politics of family life just as complicated as that of Whitehall. Details and tickets here.
THEATRE: The Revenger’s Tragedy | Jack Studio Theatre | 3-21 Mar
Jacobean play ‘The Revenger’s Tragedy’, written by Thomas Middleton and first performed in 1606, is a violent bloody affair. The story follows Vindice, as he infiltrates a corrupt Italian court in order to get revenge for the death of his former lover. It doesn’t prove as easy as it sounds. Details and tickets here.
